Licensed Massage Therapist - Owner of Divine Essence Wellness

Meet Tasha

Hi, I’m Tasha: a licensed massage therapist and the owner of Divine Essence Wellness.
Â
How I Found Massage
Â
I didn’t always know exactly what I wanted to do with my life. 5 years ago, I spent a lot of time thinking about what kind of career would actually feel meaningful to me - something where I could connect with people, help others, and still have the freedom to be myself.
Then, during a period of deep personal and spiritual growth, something clicked. I had this overwhelming sense that I was being guided toward massage therapy. It felt almost like a light switch turning on.. suddenly, I could see myself doing this work. I started learning everything I could about massage, eventually went to school, became licensed, and realized that this was more than just a career choice. It was something that genuinely felt aligned with who I am
Â
My Approach

What I love most about massage is being able to help people feel better in their bodies. Whether someone comes in carrying stress, tension, soreness, or simply needing a moment to breathe, I want them to leave feeling lighter, restored, and genuinely cared for.Â
The Experience I Want to CreateÂ
I’m very intentional about the experience I create. I pay attention to the little things - cleanliness, ambiance, comfort, communication, and the details that make a session feel personal rather than routine. I treat every client the way I would want to be treated: with care, respect, attention, and intention. I also believe that a great massage is about listening. If you tell me your lower back is bothering you, I’m not just going to follow the same routine I use on everyone. I’m going to pay attention to your body, listen to what you’re experiencing, and adjust the session accordingly. Sometimes that means focusing on an area you didn’t even realize was contributing to your discomfort, incorporating a gentle stretch, or simply spending a little more time where your body needs it most. Â

A Little About MeÂ

While I take my work seriously, I also genuinely enjoy connecting with people. I’ve always been a people person. Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked in customer service, bartending, serving, and even in spas. Those experiences taught me a lot about creating a great experience for someone and making people feel welcome.
Eventually, I realized I wanted to create something of my own.
I wanted the freedom to build an environment that actually reflected me - peaceful, beautiful, feminine, intentional, and luxurious. I love expressing myself through fashion and personal style, I love beautiful spaces and good ambiance, and I appreciate the feeling of being somewhere where you can relax and feel taken care of. I wanted to bring that same feeling into my work.
That’s a big part of what Divine Essence Wellness represents to me.
Â
I believe there is something deeply personal about bodywork. Massage isn’t just about muscles and physical tension. You’re creating a space where someone can finally slow down, breathe, and allow themselves to be cared for. There’s a certain intimacy in that - not in a romantic sense, but in the simple human experience of being seen, listened to, and cared for.
My work has taught me how important boundaries, presence, and genuine connection are. It has also taught me to trust my intuition and to listen more deeply - not only to what someone says, but to what their body is communicating.
Outside of the studio, I’m a very curious and spiritual person. I love nature, flowers, plants, learning new things, discovering beautiful places, and stepping outside of my comfort zone.
Â
I’m naturally optimistic, and I try to approach life with the belief that even when things don’t go according to plan, we are still being directed toward where we’re meant to be.

Why Divine Essence Wellness
I’ve always believed in treating people with kindness, care, and intention. Life has taught me a lot, but it has never changed the love I have for people or my desire to help others.
At the end of the day, I don’t just want to give you a massage.
I want you to feel like you can exhale.
I want you to feel comfortable, cared for, and listened to. I want you to leave feeling better than when you walked through the door: physically, mentally, and energetically.
And I genuinely don’t see myself doing anything else.
Massage gives me the opportunity to combine so many things that matter to me: healing, human connection, intuition, beauty, independence, and helping people feel good in their own bodies.
Thank you for being here. I hope I get the opportunity to welcome you into my space.
